Now that the prototype has proved mostly successful, has it crossed your mind to stop paying it yourself and have people need to get the api code themselves full stop? You could just link to the tutorial you made to get the free code. It might make people a little annoyed but it still remains free and you can expand it properly.
It might help to add the tutorial graphic in your post in the game itself, maybe either as a drop down on the main menu or in the settings tab by where you enter the api code? The hardest part about using the guide was finding where the link was hiding. At the very least it means its very accessible so you get less comments about it.
I completely agree with and support the idea of requiring an API key for future updates. Even I was able to get it working despite never touching GitHub, deepinfra, or API keys in general before finding this. This project has been a blast to monkey around with and experiment with ideas.

Tangent, I have notice that prompts that didn't work when I first tried them work later after some setup. For example, at first it would not let me say a creature tried to absorb me. After I wrote a prompt where the creature grabbed a hold of me, the AI was fine with the same creature trying to absorb me.
the game is great, so far the only issue i've run into is that (as far as i can tell) there's no way to designate a place as "safe" and have the AI treat it as such, you could just be doing stuff in a place that was previously labeled as "safe" (i.e a house that was locked and had been cleared) and all of a sudden tentacles will just materialize in front of you, or you'll suddenly be teleported into the woods because the AI wants to force you into situations that don't make sense for the setting.
I just started a new save as a slime. In my previous save, my companions and I were exploring a labyrinth. I love how much freedom I have in this game.
you can exceed the belly size and breast size limit, it’ll show on the 3D view. For the 2d images unfortunately that’s the max size right now (due to the online service I used to make them). When there are more demand I’ll need to rework the process (move workflow to my PC) to make bigger breasts/bellies

I am really impressed with the amount of player creativity this game supports. I was able to use most of the spontaneous prompts I came up with. Honestly the only prompts I could not use pertained to shrinking the belly size, sorry growing bellies are not my thing. No shame to the thousands of people who do like swelling bellies, it is a far more natural occurrence than my particular fetish. With all of that said, I think this is a great experience.

I’ll add an option to edit the prompts next time so you can disable the prompt validation part if you want

with some certain inputs the AI will fail to produce text, that’s unfortunate but I can’t fix those cases because that’s the issue with the AI model.
The issue I fixed here is because the default API key the game used was disabled
