V0.4.2

v0.4.2 is out!

Changes:

- Slimes now get ejected automatically whenever they get too big to be held in

- To account for this, starting uterus capacity was increased from 1000 to 3000

- Some other minor changes

This was a small one. A bunch of my time was spent on making helium work, but unfortunately, it failed. Anyway now I am satisfied with v0.4 and I think it's time to move on. Sorry, Mac users, but you won't get this one since there were internal problems. Now I have a vision of what v0.5 is going to be, so here's what's planned:

- Migration to UE 5.5 to hopefully get better Mac support

- Reworking current consumption system to enable specific handling of different substances. For example, food gets digested, air makes you burp etc. Yes, that includes helium

- Implementing calories and making weight gain and loss possible

Potentially

- Better settings screen to toggle certain features on and off

- Reworking of "Mind" stats for NPCs to allow future NPC interactions

So, be prepared for quite boring Monday updates since the changes will be very hard to show off properly.

Anybody is welcomed to join the discussion to give me some good ideas.

I've been playing this off and on for a while now, and one BIG issue I've always had with it is the triggers (I play on windows)

When I say "triggers" I mean where the player character is on the map to trigger an interaction prompt. It's especially bad inside the house.

I walk up to the sink, it shows the interaction prompt for the hose outside - or the coffee pot. I walk up to the chair: it shoes the interaction prompt to sleep in the bed upstairs. I walk up to the water cooler, sleep prompt for upstairs bed again. it is a genuine struggle at times to use the interactable items inside the house.

similar issues at the gym. I walk up to the squat yoga mat, and it gives the prompt to curl and vice-versa.

perhaps, instead of these spacial triggers, you could just let us click on the item we want to interact with? From there, the normal interaction prompt could pop-up.

It will be better in the next version

Ive been a fan of this game for the longest time, it's honestly so cool and please keep up the amazing work you two :)

If you're after any possible ideas for the game, here's several (& their advantages) :

-a notebook that's permanently inside the players inventory that can be manually updated by the user like journal entries with each NPCS method of inflation (saves the user having to switch between 2 different browsers whenever talking to specific NPCS)

- Cutscenes depending the factor/s on how ayume passes out, before she ends up in the hospital. Like it could all go blurry if she fainted, or if she's high the screen is temporarily covered with a kaleidoscope view or drunk the screen is visibly shaking. The more times she passes out, the longer  the temporary screen lasts, or be more intense depending on the higher intake of food, drugs or alcohol. (Adds a sense of realism to the game, and the dangers of excessive substance consumption & epileptic-friendly)

-if she ever has too large of a belly and goes swimming at the gym, there's a chance she could drown and be rescued by a lifeguard or that pal of hers, the screen could show her arms and legs reaching out to the surface, blackened edges of the screen and bubbles appearing. Then maybe like a mini game where the user has to tap certain arrow keys in order to resuscitate her. (Potentiol introduction for another NPC?, makes the user more careful and try to manage ayumes temporary size whenver awimming, mames the game more interactive for the user)

-Maybe add a police station as a possible location, almost like the farm for example, the user can visit it incase she ever gets detained at the alleyway for buying drugs from her pal or the foundation for that "crime" if she refuses to pay the fine or can't afford it, the cutscene could show ayume being handcuffed and lead to a police car and then put in a cell for a night, after that she is released and free to go but must pay a fine, it will be like the nurses office where the officers won't pursue you for that cash. But the mkre times she gets arrested the longer she has to spend in there, and maybe have a chance to escape through the jailbars or grabbing the key, (thrilling experience for the user with a feeling of danger, exciting and shows consequences of not being careful to not get caught)

-a wardrobe to customise ayumew clothing, she sometimes wears a Christmas hat or has Xmas outfit in Xmas mode, or raincoat for rain or bikini for that hotel resort, (more customisation options and freedom with her visible appearane)

- on screen notification that appears whenever the food/drugs in inventory is soon going to go out of date and expire (helps manage inventory that's useful for the player)

-a hairdresser to get ayumes hair, nails done and buy contact lenses to further enhance her physical perception (appearance) of how she looks, maybe inteoduxe a new NPC here (variations with her looks depending on users mood)

Anyways that's all my ideas for now lol! Ohh and with the cutscenes,  an option to disable them in the settings could be included, giving players greater control over the game’s mechanics and allowing for a recreational experience tailored to their preferences. I hope it serves useful. And I wish you both the best of luck with the games development 🎉

The input is appreciated, although it feels like you are talking about visual novel, not the Unreal game. For example, there is no pool in this version. Are you sure you have posted your comment under the correct game?

(1 edit)

Got curious enough to see if the game works on my 406h (Android-based), but it's got that issue some mobile Unreal Android games have where Unreal asks for storage permission without actually needing it properly, so like, it asks for permission, but the permission options are grayed out so you can't enable them.

Googled it and found a Youtube vid by some guy:

-but I'm obviously not a dev so I'm just going by what Google's telling me, ha.

I don't even like playing lewd games on Android, I just got super curious out of nowhere and wanted to see if the game works on my retro handheld since it runs Android 13.

(EDIT: internet says it's a common issue with Android 13 and Unreal games... I guess?)

Hmm... I thought this issue was already fixed. Maybe your device is running custom Android version which handles things differently

Will vore and bigger sizes ever be added into the game?

(+1)

Vore - not planned, for bigger sizes you can check out the unreal mode, which removes all restrictions on max size. Use with precaution, it is not tested

(+1)

For bigger sizes I meant as basically new models with fattier features, just to be clear.

(+1)

Oh, that's unlikely for a while. Initially focus of the game was on the inflation, bot weight gain, and still you are one of the only people who wants substantial WG content.

(+1)

I mean, FieryLion is a dev that used to post a lot on Weight Gaming and has made a bunch of weight gain focused or related games in the past, so I was hoping this would have been one of them as well, eventually.

Current model supports gaining up to 200 lbs pretty well, and I can't recall any instances of FL's characters going any further

(+1)

Maybe we could hold the slimes all we want? Even try to get multiple in there

(+1)

But having progression is more fun. Having multiple is something I can work on potentially
